Welome to our Luxury Sewing Retreat 2026! We’re delighted to invite you to an unforgettable creative escape at the stunning Bailbrook House Hotel, set in the beautiful Bath countryside. This inspiring retreat will take place from 25th–27th September 2026, with an optional extra night on 24th September for those who wish to settle in early, relax, and ease into the experience.

This immersive two-day sewing retreat is perfect for sewists of all levels — from enthusiastic beginners to confident makers looking to refine their skills. You’ll be taught by each of our expert tutors, with Suzie and Rebecca leading sewing machine–based projects (sewing machines are available free of charge on request), and Tilly and Amelia guiding you through beautiful hand-stitching techniques.

We’re also pleased to confirm that the venue is fully accessible, ensuring guests with disabilities can enjoy the retreat comfortably and without limitations.

• Tilly Rose (Tilly Rose Vintage) – Tilly Rose Vintage

A textile artist and author known for her slow-stitching, vintage textiles, and creative storytelling approach. Tilly offers gentle, expressive techniques that encourage creativity and confidence.

• Suzie Duncan – Sewing Street – Suzie Duncan Sewing Street

Sewing educator and creator known for clear, modern garment-making tutorials. Suzie specialises in bag making, pattern reading, and construction, supporting sewists at every level. Suzie is a regular on shopping TV channel Sewing Street.

• Rebecca Reid (Amber Makes) – Amber Makes

Rebecca, co-founder of Amber Makes and regular TV presenter on Sewing Street TV is a Professional sewing tutor and creative designer with a strong focus on fit, finishing, and couture-influenced techniques. Rebecca brings precision, expertise, and supportive guidance.

• Amelia Rodgers- Amelia Stitches – Amelia Stitches

Amelia Rogers began her own embroidery brand, Amelia Stitches, back in 2020, after her A-Levels were cancelled due to Covid-19. Originally designed to be a space for her to share photos of her lockdown projects, her Instagram-based small business grew into an online shop selling beginner-friendly embroidery kits. Having now finished studying Law and Strategic Communication at the University of Liverpool, ‘Amelia Stitches’ has become Amelia’s full time job. She specialises in floral and portrait based embroidery with a modern twist, and loves bright colour palettes and if-you-know-you-know designs!!
